No. Katchy is specifically engineered for small flying insects: fruit flies, gnats, and mosquitoes. House flies are too large, and they are not attracted by UV light in the same way. We state this clearly in every product listing so there are no surprises.

Each glue board lasts up to 4 weeks of normal use. We recommend checking the board weekly. Replace it when the surface is visibly covered with insects, or when you notice a decrease in catch rate. Having a fresh board in place ensures peak performance at all times.

Yes. All Katchy products are EPA registered (Est. 93372-CHN-1) and use no chemicals, no electrical zapping, and no toxins. The glue boards contain non-toxic adhesive. We recommend placing units out of reach of toddlers and curious pets to prevent tampering or accidental contact with the glue boards.

Place Katchy close to the source of insect activity — near fruit bowls, houseplants, compost bins, or sink drains. Dim or turn off surrounding lights so Katchy's UV light is the dominant light source in the area. For overnight use, the bedroom or kitchen near the trouble spot is ideal.

The standard Glue Board Refills (8 Pack) are compatible with Katchy Original and Midnight only. The Katchy Duo uses a different board size and format. Please check the product listing carefully when ordering refills to ensure compatibility with your specific model.
